Gaming giant Playtika buys Israeli gaming startup SuperPlay for USD700m

Playtika Holding Corp. has agreed to buy SuperPlay, a mobile gaming company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, for USD700 million, with an additional consideration of up to USD 1.25 billion, contingent on financial targets over three years.

This acquisition is expected to drive Playtika’s growth and add a team with a proven track record of launching successful games.

Furth, Wilensky, Mizrachi, Knaani is serving as legal counsel to Playtika.

Raz, Dlugin & Co. is serving as legal counsel to SuperPlay.

Founded in 2019 by former Playtika employees Gilad Almog and Eyal Netzer, along with industry veteran Elad Drory, SuperPlay has developed two successful titles: Dice Dreams, a fast-growing Coin Looter game, and Domino Dreams, a popular board game.

Both games saw rapid growth in 2024, reaching a combined 1.7 million average daily active users as of August. Gilad and Eyal will continue to lead SuperPlay as an independent studio within Playtika.
