In an exclusive event in Dubai, brought forward by Axis Innovation, a delegation of Israeli startups visited the United Arab Emirates, and meet noted investors and multinational corporations.

Since the signing of The Abraham Accords in September 2020, the UAE has invested over USD 77M in Israeli high-tech companies to date.

Initially, only USD 1M of investments were made during 2020. Nevertheless, UAE’s investments increased sharply in 2021 by USD 44M. During 2022, despite the economic crisis, approximately USD 32M of Emirati capital has been invested in Israeli high-tech companies. 47% of those investments were made in B rounds, 41% in C rounds, and the rest in A rounds.

With 47% of total capital invested in Cleantech companies, almost half of the UAE investments were in this sector, followed by the Communications sector with 42%, and the Internet sector with 11%.
