Premiere Digital acquires Amdocs’ Vubiquity in global media distribution deal
Premiere Digital has acquired Vubiquity from Amdocs, combining two digital media distribution businesses serving studios, streamers, broadcasters, and digital platforms worldwide. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition brings together Premiere Digital’s content mastering, digital distribution, and AI-driven capabilities with Vubiquity’s media supply chain, licensing, and monetization services. Premiere Digital said the combination is intended to create a broader global distribution platform spanning more of the media content value chain.
For Amdocs, the divestiture reflects a sharper focus on its core software and services strategy, including its agentic platform, aOS. The transaction closed on October 8.
