New ITA Circulars Dealing with the Taxation of Private Equity and VC Funds, their Investors and Fund Managers

On March 14, 2018, the Israel Tax Authority (the “ITA”) issued two circulars (9/2018 – Taxation of Venture Capital Funds and 10/2018 – Taxation of Private Equity Funds) dealing with the conditions and specifics of a beneficial tax treatment route available for private equity and VC funds in connection with their investments in Israel (the “Circulars”).
