Agmon & Co. Rosenberg Hacohen & Co. represented the defendants, the partners in the Tamar Gas field, in relation to the rejection of one of the largest motions to certify a class action.
Partners Zvi Agmon and Yonatan Kehat advised on the case, together with associate Hanan Cidor in the firm’s Litigation department and with Joey Lightstone from the Antitrust department.
The Central District Court dismissed the huge class action lawsuit, which was filed seven years ago alleging that the price Tamar charged to the Israel Electric Company for natural gas was excessive.
The court ruled that the price may be high, but failed to determine it was excessive.
