New cybersecurity regulations are currently being considered in the telecommunications sector.

The Ministry of Communications promotes cybersecurity provisions that will apply to telecoms companies in a way that communications licensees will have to be equipped with high-level cybersecurity and recovery capabilities.

The amendments proposed by the Ministry of Communications include detailed cybersecurity provisions in both administrative and technological aspects.

The Ministry of Communications is allowing references (hearings) to the proposed amendments in the coming month of September.
