Japan’s Renesas Electronics buys Israel-based Celeno Communications for USD 315m

Wi-Fi chipsets manufacturer Celeno Communications, Inc. has been bought for USD 315 million by Renesas Electronics Corporation, a Japanese public company and a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions.
The Goldfarb Seligman team was led by partner Michael Heller, and comprised associates Daniel Kahn and Matan Katzman, and intern Nour Gandour of the firm’s International Corporate and Securities Department, as well as tax partners Yaron Sever and Sagit Shoval-Moked, labor partner Revital Shprung-Levy and IP partner Ronen Hausirer.
