Israel to build first tech park for Arab sector in Nazareth

Israel is to build first tech park for Arab sector in the city of Nazareth, with the park to supply 200 workplaces in the tech field to the area, costing USD 6.8 million.

The declaration follows the approval last month of a five-year plan to increase the number of Israeli Arabs in the tech industry, which enjoys a budget of NIS 600 million, or USD 194 million.

Currently, only 2% of the Arab workforce currently is employed in the lucrative sector.
