Delek Drilling sells 22% interest in the Tamar and Dalit natural gas reservoirs to Abu Dhabi company for over USD 1 billion
Delek Drilling has completed the sale of its 22% interest in the Tamar and Dalit natural gas reservoirs to Mubadala Petroleum of Abu Dhabi, for over USD 1 billion.
Agmon & Co. Rosenberg Hacohen & Co. act for Delek Drilling in this historical transaction, with Dan Hacohen, Eddie Ashkenazi, Evyatar Sadeh and Rebecca Baskin Zafrir from the firm’s Energy Practice advising, as well as Yona Goshen Gottstein and Tal Levy from the firm’s Banking and Finance Practice.
This amazing deal concludes Delek’s involvement in the Tamar project, which began with the initial discovery of the reservoir in the 1990s. It also marks the completion of the Gas Framework arrangement, and follows on from the historic visit this week of Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett to the UAE.
