Panopto raises offer to buy Israeli video co Kaltura for USD 383 million

US video platform Panopto reports has revised its bid to buy Israeli video cloud platform Kaltura. The revised bid is for USD 3 per share, which values Kaltura at USD383 million.
Kaltura provides video management systems for businesses, media organizations and universities. The company was founded in 2006 by CEO Ron Yekutiel, Dr. Michal Tsur, Dr. Shay David, and Eran Eitam.
In July 2021, Kaltura completed is Nasdaq IPO at the second attempt at a valuation of USD 1.24 billion and raised USD 150 million.
