Insurtech company Vesttoo raises USD 80 million; valuation at USD1 billion
Israeli insurtech company Vesttoo has completion of an USD 80 million Series C financing round, at a company valuation of USD1 billion (after money).
The financing round was led by Mouro Capital with the participation of Gramercy Ventures, Black River Ventures (BRV) and Hanaco Ventures. The latest funding fuels its global expansion plans in a market ripe for innovation.
Meitar advised the company, led by Dan Shamgar, Yasmin Ziv, Neta Brenner, Merav Knafo and Yael Itshakov.
Vesttoo connects the insurance industry and the capital markets by combining AI-powered technology with expertise in data science, insurance and finance so that insurers have the capital they need and investors have opportunities to diversify with uncorrelated low-volatility insurance-linked assets.
