U.S. chip giant Qualcomm buys Israeli chip maker Autotalks for estimated USD 340 million
U.S. chip giant Qualcomm has bought Israeli chip maker Autotalks for approximately USD 340 million, as it looks to expand its automotive business.
Arnon, Tadmor-Levy represented Autotalks Ltd., which develops technology for the communication between vehicles. Founded in 2009, the Israeli company has raised USD 110 million, according to data from PitchBook, and has been a client of Yigal Arnon since its first days in the industry.
The transaction was led by attorneys Barak Platt and Nataly Margalit, with support from Ofir Levy, Ofir Paz, Eli Greenbaum, Ben Sandler, Miriam Friedmann, as well as Yarom Romem and Yulia Lazbin who represented some of Autotalks’ shareholders in the transaction.
