Israel competition watchdog summons Strauss over price-fixing allegations

The food and beverage manufacturing giant, Strauss, its former CEO Giora Bardea, and CFO Ariel Chetrit are alleged to have attempted to coordinate price hikes with competitors, according to a report in the Times Of Israel.
According to the hearing documents, Strauss allegedly informed its competitors that it was considering raising prices in an attempt to reach a restrictive arrangement with them on price hikes.
