Snyk acquires the Israeli cyber start-up Helios; 2nd acquisition in less than 12 months
Ambitious cyber company Snyk has acquired the Israeli cyber start-up Helios in a cash-stock deal estimated at tens of millions of USD.
EBN advised Amiti Ventures, a leading deep tech seed-stage VC firm in Israel, in relation to the sale of its portfolio company Helios.
Following the purchase, Synk’s security products will cover the entire life cycle of code, from its development phase to its operation in a cloud infrastructure.
Founded in 2021 by Eli Cohen (CEO) and Ran Nozik (CTO), Helios employs 11 people in Israel and the USA. The company announced in July 2022 a $5 million seed investment, jointly led by Entrée Capital and Amiti Ventures. The Helios employees will be absorbed by the purchasing company.
This is Snyk’s second acquisition in Israel, after acquiring the cyber start-up Enso Security in mid-2023.
