Israeli cybersecurity unicorns Orca and Wiz to meet in court

The two Israeli cybersecurity unicorns are embroiled in a lawsuit in which Orca claims that Wiz copied its technology.
Last July, Israeli cybersecurity company Orca Security filed a lawsuit against fellow Israeli firm Wiz. Orca demanded that Wiz cease selling products that allegedly infringed on Orca’s patents and sought financial compensation for their use. Additionally, Orca accused Wiz of not only copying its technology but also its marketing materials and of hiring the same lawyer who had registered Orca’s patents. “Wiz has built its business on a simple business plan: copy Orca,” the statement of claim asserts.
