Israeli startups dominate promising cyber companies list
Israeli cyber startups raised USD 2.9 billion between January and mid-June, compared to USD 1.9 billion in all of 2023 and USD 3.2 billion in 2022.
There were also 12 exits in early 2024, compared to 21 in 2023, 16 in 2022, and a record 35 in 2021, according to a report by YL Ventures.
Furthermore, Israeli startups dominate list of promising cyber companies. The list – chosen by Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), security leaders, and startup investors – comprises a total of 30 companies, with 12 of them originating from Israel.
Among the early-stage companies, Gomboc, Oligo, and Wing made the cut; while Astrix, Descope, Gutsy, and Grip were highlighted in the mid-stage category. In the growth stage, companies such as Cyera, Drata, Island, Orca, and Wiz were recognized.
