Bank Leumi has raised NIS 3.9 billion through the expansion of two existing bond series and the issuance of a new series of commercial papers. All three series are top-rated by S&P Global Ratings.

Agmon with Tulchinsky advised the bank, with the transaction led by partner Ran Shalom and associate Marom Bouznah of the firm’s Corporate, Securities and Capital Markets Department.

Leumi’s fundraising came a few days after Discount Bank’s fundraising, which also took almost NIS 3 billion from the market in a combined issue of bonds and government bonds, and these two issuances came a few days after the Ministry of Finance began its wave of fundraising that should amount to NIS 18 billion this month.
