Israel Electric Company issues TASE bonds; Raises NIS3.4 billion
Categories: Capital Markets
The Israeli Electric Company Ltd. (IEC) has completed an offering, raising NIS 3.4 billion through a public debt offering that enjoyed high demand of over NIS 4 billion under challenging market conditions.
Expanding two bond series, 34 and 35, this was one of the largest bond issuances of a non-bank entity in the last year on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Ltd.
IEC is the primary electricity provider in Israel, responsible for generating, transmitting, and supplying electricity across the country.
Herzog advised IEC on the transaction, with Corporate, Capital Markets and Securities Department partner Yehuda Aharoni (Hommfor) and associates Michal Gladstein and Matan Bouskila.
