A change in immediate reporting?
The immediate reports filed by public companies to the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (“TASE”) and to the Israel Securities Authority (“ISA”) are a major component of the regulatory burden on companies listed for trade in Israel. A round table discussion took place with representatives from the ISA and TASE regarding the matter, where Amir Assali (a partner from the firm’s Capital Markets department) participated and noted that “a few years ago, the ISA began promoting the “Project to Improve the Disclosure Requirements in Annual and Quarterly Reports” which is a welcomed initiative and in certain areas of activity, such as real estate, special disclosure requirements have been developed. I would be glad to see the continuation of this project since the proposed legislation in the matter has not been promoted since 2014.”
