LevelBlue Acquires Israeli Cybersecurity Firm Cybereason
LevelBlue, a U.S.-based cybersecurity company specializing in managed detection, response, and threat intelligence, has acquired Cybereason, an Israeli-founded cybersecurity firm known for its advanced endpoint protection and threat-hunting technology.
Once valued at USD 2.73 billion during the 2021 tech boom, Cybereason saw its valuation fall sharply to USD 475 million by October 2023, according to PitchBook. The company partially rebounded in March 2025, raising USD 120 million at a valuation of USD 850 million, bringing its total funding to approximately USD 1 billion.
The acquisition marks a major consolidation in the global cybersecurity market, as LevelBlue integrates Cybereason’s AI-driven defense capabilities to expand its global security platform.
