Israeli VC Funding Accelerates in Japan
Categories: Hi-Tech
Israeli VC fundraising gained momentum this quarter, with firms announcing USD 1.37 billion in fresh capital over the past six weeks.
This surge coincided with the first-ever Israeli VC delegation to Japan, hosted by the Economic and Trade Mission of the Embassy of Israel in Japan.
Ten leading funds presented their strategies and portfolios at Mission-led events and held more than 200 meetings with 150 Japanese corporates, underscoring the growing strategic ties between the two markets. Japanese investors already account for 13% of foreign investment into Israeli high-tech in H1 2025, and this ratio is expected to rise following the delegation.
