Israeli cyber buy strengthens CrowdStrike
CrowdStrike, a U.S. cybersecurity leader that develops cloud-native threat protection and endpoint solutions, agreed to acquire Israel’s Seraphic Security, a startup that embeds security directly into web browsers, for approximately USD 400 million.
Founded in Tel Aviv in 2020 and backed by investors including GreatPoint Ventures and the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund, Seraphic has built a browser-native platform that protects SaaS and private web applications on managed and personal devices.
This marks one of CrowdStrike’s most significant purchases in Israel to date and its sixth acquisition in the country.
In this transaction, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised CrowdStrike out of its Silicon Valley and New York offices.
