Camtek acquires visual AI company Visual Layer
Camtek Ltd. acquired Visual Layer, a visual AI company, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its AI-driven inspection and metrology capabilities for the semiconductor industry. The acquisition is expected to support deeper integration of visual AI into advanced manufacturing workflows, enhancing defect detection, process control, and analytics across semiconductor production environments.
Shibolet represented Camtek on the transaction. The firm’s team was led by partners Maya Koubi Bara-nes and Jonathan Neumann, together with associates Keren Gugel Bond and Neri Azari, and interns Ariel Moran and Basma Saada.
