MoonPay acquires Sodot in Crypto key management deal
MoonPay, a leading global cryptocurrency payments and Web3 infrastructure company, acquired Sodot, a key management infrastructure firm that secured over USD 50 billion in transactions and protected more than 10 million digital wallets.
Sodot’s technology will form the secure key management foundation of MoonPay Institutional’s technology stack, strengthening MoonPay’s offering to institutional clients.
Herzog co-advised MoonPay on the transaction alongside Latham & Watkins.
Herzog partners Yuval Meidar and Rei Even-Chen led the deal, supported by Gilead Reutlinger and Nitzan Rozen from the firm’s High-Tech department.
