Australia emerges as expansion gateway for Israeli companies
Israeli companies seeking to expand globally should view Australia as a strategic launchpad, according to Paul Israel, executive director of the Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce.
Australia’s strong economy, demand for innovation, and early-adopter technology market can give Israeli companies a valuable opportunity to build credibility before entering larger markets such as the United States, Asia, and Europe. The country has also become an important market for Israeli cybersecurity companies, with CyberArk, Sygnia, Armis, Check Point, and others already operating there.
The Jerusalem Post and the Central Synagogue of Sydney will convene a high-level business summit on November 19, bringing together senior business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, philanthropists, community leaders, and innovators from Israel, Australia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
The event is expected to include keynote speeches, panel discussions, one-on-one conversations, sector-focused sessions, networking opportunities, and curated business meetings, with a focus on areas where Israel and Australia share strong commercial potential.
Australia also presents opportunities for Israeli companies in mining technology, advanced communications, autonomous systems, cybersecurity, and innovation ecosystem development, as the country looks to deepen commercial ties with Israel and strengthen technology commercialization.
