Circeus acquires Dondy to scale AI agents across WhatsApp and Instagram
Circeus has acquired Dondy, an all-in-one conversational commerce platform used by more than 70,000 businesses globally.
Dondy will join Shop Circle, Circeus’ agentic commerce software division. Its AI agents operate across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and website chat, handling customer conversations, recovering abandoned carts, answering questions, and completing purchases.
The platform routes more than USD 100 million in annual merchant orders and more than one million customer conversations each year through WhatsApp. Across merchants using Dondy’s AI agents, approximately 70% of conversations are resolved end to end by AI. Dondy is also expected to expand into other channels, including email, TikTok, and Telegram.
