IAI posts record USD449m profit as TASE IPO moves closer
Israel Aerospace Industries reported record first-half results, with net profit rising 40% to USD 449 million from USD 320 million in the same period last year.
Revenue for the first half of 2026 reached USD 4.275 billion, compared with USD 3.88 billion a year earlier, while second-quarter revenue rose to USD 2.189 billion. IAI’s order backlog climbed to an all-time high of USD 35 billion, up from USD 27 billion in the previous quarter.
The company’s Missiles and Space Division, which produces the Arrow missile defense system, surpassed USD 1 billion in sales for the first time and remained IAI’s largest revenue generator. Exports accounted for 66% of the company’s sales, with domestic Israeli defense sales representing the remaining 34%.
IAI CEO Boaz Levy said the company’s long-planned IPO is now “closer than ever,” following progress in discussions with the Defense Ministry and the Israel Securities Authority. The offering is planned for the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, where IAI is expected to offer approximately 20% of its shares.
