XTEND lands NATO drone contract worth up to USD15m
Israeli autonomous-drone company XTEND has secured a multi-year contract worth up to approximately USD 15 million with the Ministry of Defense of an undisclosed European NATO member.
The agreement includes approximately USD 4.5 million secured for the first year, according to JFB Construction Holdings, the Nasdaq-listed company that is in the process of merging with XTEND.
XTEND develops autonomous systems and software-defined robotics built around its XTEND Operating System, which is designed to support autonomous operations across drones and other robotic systems. The company also operates a global manufacturing network intended to meet allied government requirements for secure and scalable production.
The contract comes as Western governments place greater emphasis on trusted technology, secure supply chains, and alternatives to Chinese-made commercial drone platforms. XTEND said similar regulatory and procurement shifts in the US are increasing demand for systems used in defense, homeland security, and critical infrastructure.
XTEND is preparing to become publicly traded in the US through its merger with JFB Construction Holdings. The transaction is expected to close after market close on September 8, 2026, after which XTEND is expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
