SoundHound AI completes acquisition of LivePerson
SoundHound AI has completed its acquisition of LivePerson, a US dual-listed company whose shares traded on Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, in a transaction valued at approximately USD 46 million.
LivePerson will merge with and into SoundHound AI, combining LivePerson’s digital conversational AI capabilities with SoundHound’s voice and agentic AI platform. The combined business is expected to offer enterprise customers a broader omnichannel AI platform spanning voice, messaging, and customer engagement.
The transaction follows SoundHound’s broader acquisition strategy in enterprise AI and customer experience technology. LivePerson brings longstanding customer relationships and digital engagement capabilities, while SoundHound adds voice AI and agentic AI tools designed to automate and improve customer interactions.
