CVC acquires 40% of Fibrotex at USD850m valuation
CVC has agreed to acquire a 40% stake in Fibrotex Group at a valuation of approximately USD 850 million, partnering with the founding Blum family, which will retain majority ownership of the company.
The investment is being made through CVC Catalyst III and is intended to support Fibrotex’s continued international expansion and development of advanced defense technologies. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
Fibrotex develops multispectral camouflage systems designed to reduce the detectability of military personnel, vehicles, and critical assets. The company has major operations in Petah Tikva and Kentucky and supplies customers in more than 20 countries, including the US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and several European markets.
The investment comes amid rising global demand for protective defense technologies, driven by military modernization programs and increased spending on personnel and asset protection. CVC said it plans to use its global network and investment capabilities to support Fibrotex’s innovation and international growth.
Meitar advised Fibrotex Group and the Blum family on the transaction, with a team led by Dan Shamgar, Dana Yagur, Daniel Colthof, and Tal Weintroib.
