A broad collective agreement reached at Israel Railways, including on the rail electrification project
Categories: Labor & Employment
An extremely significant collective agreement has been reached at Israel Railways, which will resolve the disputes between the company and employees.
Over the years, Herzog has acted for Israel Railways on dozens of organizational measures, including injunction requests, most of which have been granted.
Among the provisions of the collective agreement is the rail electrification project, which regulates the railway’s transition to advanced technology and its effects on its employees, while emphasizing the need for managerial flexibility.
The project was skillfully completed by Herzog partners Haya Ehrman and Grigory Danovich, as well as associates RanPeretz and Naama Friedman Laish.
