Alcon buys Israeli glaucoma company Belkin Vision for up to USD466m

Alcon is acquiring Belkin Vision, which has developed laser-based technology for glaucoma treatment for up to USD466 million, including an immediate payment of USD81 million and a further USD385 million in milestone payments according to the product’s success on the market.

Arnon, Tadnor-Levy’s Ezra Gross led the representation of Alcon, with support from Nataly Margalit and Tali Salzman. Ofir Levy and Ofir Paz handled the tax aspects.

Shibolet  advised two major shareholders of Belkin Vision in the acquisition transaction, which was led by Maya MalinLior Aviram, and Ofer Manor, with the assistance of Vered Meller.
