Alicorn VC acquires Glassbox Ltd. for approximately USD150m

Alicorn Venture Capital Partners is to buy Glassbox Ltd. for approximately USD150 million. Alicorn was one of the funds that invested in Glassbox at an early stage.

Glassbox, which went public on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a USD500 million valuation three years ago, provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to analyze browsing data for customers on the internet and smartphones. This data is used by companies to optimize the user experience and increase sales

Herzog advised Glassbox on this deal with a team consisting of Nir Dash, Efrat Tzur, Michal Herzfeld, Efrat Kesler Kadmon, Ronen Avner, Adar Bengom (Ortal), Elisheva Nathan Hemo, Gabriel Cohen, Maayan Hammer-Tzeelon, Ofri Mor, Ellie Horder and Ann Prashkovsky.

The transaction is expected to complete after meeting a number of conditions, including a ruling from the Israel Tax Authority and approvals from certain third parties. Read more in Calcalist.
