Asserson’s US Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice launched
We caught up with Yis Hiller, who leads Asserson’s newly formed US Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice.
Yis is a dual-qualified US-UK lawyer who sits in Asserson’s Tel Aviv office. Yis joined the firm ten years ago as a US litigator after having worked at several top US law firms. Yis qualified as a British solicitor in 2014 and has extensive experience with litigations in both jurisdictions and with cross-border disputes and arbitration.
Our US team has recently expanded with the addition of associates Allison Khaskelis and Natasha Pereira Shiman, both of whom practiced in prestigious US law firms before joining Asserson. Allison and Natasha have substantial experience representing clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters. Both are currently in the process of becoming dual-qualified as UK solicitors.
Our practice focuses on advising foreign directors and companies in connection with U.S. disputes and potential jurisdictional issues. We also regularly manage international arbitrations and multiple-jurisdiction disputes. Our English practice includes all forms of commercial disputes, and we have special expertise dealing with claims in the sports and art world, as well as acting for high-profile individuals seeking to protect their privacy rights.
