Bank Hapoalim advances new city plan for its building on Tel Aviv boulevard
Bank Hapoalim is advancing a new city plan regarding its building on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv.
According to the plan, the existing building on Rothschild Boulevard, will be designated as a protected site and the Bank’s headquarters on Yehuda Halevi Street will be demolished and a 45-story skyscraper will be erected in its place.
The construction rights of the tower and the protected site total approx. 48,000 sq. meters and will be used for offices, commerce, and hotel purposes, as well as for about 104 residential units. The plan also includes designating a nearby plot of the bank for public buildings.
Fischer (FBC) handled all the legal and planning aspects of the project, including the complex set of agreements with Tel Aviv-
Yafo Municipality and Local Planning & Zoning committee.
Our Planning & Zoning team, led by partner and co-head of the practice Efrat Sharon, along with senior associate Ben Levy Tsedek advised Bank Hapoalim.
