Cloudera acquires Octopai, expanding data management capabilities
The U.S. company Cloudera, a leading global provider in big data management and analytics, has acquired the assets and business operations of Octopai, an Israeli company known for its automated data lineage, discovery, cataloguing, mapping, and impact analysis tools.
This acquisition enhances Cloudera’s ability to govern data across multi-cloud and on-premises environments, strengthening its appeal in the analytics and technology industries.
Arnon, Tadmor-Levy served as sole outside counsel to Cloudera, with a team led by partners Ben Sandler, Miriam Friedmann, Eli Greenbaum, and Shira Lahat, assisted by Michael Portman, Yeah Grumet and Yishai Chamudot.
Octopai was represented by partners Peter Sugarman, Avi Anouchi, and Neta Goshen Brami, also supported by Eden Cohen.
