Cyber security unicorn Aqua Security has acquired Argon Security

Cyber security unicorn Aqua Security has acquired Argon Security, a developer of a software supply chain security platform that was founded just last year.

Goldfarb Seligman acted for the buyer, which was represented by Michael Heller, Vice Head of our International Corporate and Securities Department, partner Ronen Hausirer, associates Daniel Kahn, Greg Samodryga. Other team members included partner Yaron Sever, Co-Head of our Tax Department, as well as partner Revital Shprung-Levy and associates Idan Ashush and Lior Dekel of the Labor and Corporate Immigration Department.
Argon Security was represented by Meitar: Raanan Lerner, Keren Egozi, Yoav Yosephi, Meir Akunis, Yael Kalman, Ignacio González Royo, Hila Silverstein, Odelya Lazimi, Nicole Feld, Adi Rosen Cohen and Dr. Shimrit Itay-Horev.

Aqua completed a USD 135 million Series E at a USD 1 billion valuation earlier this year, and has raised a total of USD 265 million to date. The company employs around 350 people, half of them out of its headquarters and R&D center in Israel.
