CEO Dror Bin said Israel can build long-term economic strength through science-based fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and advanced materials, even as the market experiences a slowdown in new company formation and venture capital investment.
Bin noted that reduced fundraising and fewer startup launches reflect a more disciplined environment rather than structural weakness. The Authority views the current cycle as an opportunity to redirect capital, talent, and public support toward technologies that require longer development horizons but deliver higher strategic and economic value, reinforcing Israel’s position in global innovation-intensive industries.
