DLA Piper Advises on Key Israeli Tech Deals
DLA Piper advised Woven Capital, Toyota Motor Corporation’s growth fund, on its lead investment in UVeye’s USD 191 million financing round. UVeye, an Israeli AI-driven vehicle inspection company, secured funding to expand its global operations.
Jeremy Lustman, Richard Bull, and Ben Griebe led the DLA Piper team, working closely with Israeli lead counsel FWMK, including Erez Mizrachi, Itai Farkash, Yaara Libay, and Dina Mets.
DLA Piper also represented Riverwood Capital, a U.S.-based private equity fund, in its acquisition of Israeli AI pricing company Quicklizard. The Los Angeles team, led by Ian Hlatky and Steve Reil, advised on U.S. aspects of the deal and coordinated legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Norway, Germany, Poland, and Singapore.
DLA Piper collaborated with FWMK, Riverwood’s Israeli lead counsel, to facilitate the transaction.
