Dynatrace to acquire Israeli start-up Rookout for USD50-60 million

Software intelligence platform Dynatrace, which is traded on the NYSE with a market cap of approximately USD16 billion, is acquiring the Israeli start-up Rookout, which develops a developer-first observability platform.

The addition of Rookout to the Dynatrace platform will help developers speed up the development process and release secure software versions.

Pearl Cohen advised Rookout, with the transaction led by Guy Lachmann, Ilana Soloducho Kashmir, Evyatar Sadeh, Ido Barzilay, Nathalie Georlette, Tetsu Miyazawa, Omer Alony, Reuel Ben Moshe and many more.

Goodwin, with support from Meitar, represented Dynatrace.

Dynatrace is headquartered in Massachusetts, with research and development labs based in various locations across Austria, Estonia, Poland, Spain, and the United States.

Founded in 2017, Rookout has raised USD 28.2 million since its inception.
