Enlight Renewable Energy raises USD 252 million in Nasdaq IPO

Enlight Renewable Energy (Enlight), a global renewable energy platform, has completed its IPO on Nasdaq, the first offering by an Israeli company in New York in 2023, and was at a valuation of USD 2 billion.

Latham & Watkins represented Enlight in the offering with a corporate team led by London partner Joshua Kiernan and Houston partner Ryan Lynch, with associates Gilad Zohari, Adam Deutsch, and Kirby Swartz.

The Herzog team was led by Ron Ben-Menachem, Nir Dash, Joshua Ravitz, Dr. Ehab Farah, and Mohammad Mawasi. Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom acted as underwriters’ counsel, as well as Amit Pollak Matalon law firm.

Founded in 2008, Enlight develops, constructs, finances, and operates solar and wind energy projects in multiple locations around the world, including Israel, United States, Sweden, Spain, Croatia, Hungary and others.

The proceeds of the IPO will be used to develop additional clean energy projects.
