Fast-charging battery startup StoreDot hits USD 1.5 billion valuation in Series D financing.
The Israeli company has so far raised USD 60 million in the round, led by VinFast but isn’t closing the round yet in order to allow additional strategic investors from the automotive industry, who are still assessing its technology, to join. The new round marks significant growth for the Israeli company, which was valued at USD 500 million in its previous funding round in 2017.
Herzog Fox & Neeman Law Firm acted for lead investor, VINFAST LLC, the fast-growing Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, and a member of Vietnam’s largest multi-sector conglomerate, Vin Group.
The work was led by co-Head of the firm’s Asia Practice, Gilad Majerowicz together with M&A partner Adina Shapiro and M&A associate Dana Qaq, as well as the firm’s ‘A-Team’ of Karen Elburg, Efrat Kesler Kadmon, Hen Tirosh, Samuel Berkowitz, Juchan Yoon, Nadav Lev, Eti Portook, and Einat Steiner.
