FIMI has completed the raising of the largest fund in its history, amounting to USD 1.2 Billion, with Israeli law firm Naschitz Brandes Amir advising.

This will be FIMI’s seventh fund and will start investing in Q1, 2021.

FIMI is the leading private equity firm in Israel with a track record of success spanning over 20 years. Before this transaction, FIMI had raised six private equity funds with more than USD 3 Billion in aggregate capital commitments.

Head of the M&A and Private Equity practice at Naschitz Brandes Amir, Sharon Amir and partner, Einat Rosu, were the principal lawyers on the team.

Amir added: “FIMI’s exceptional performance since 1996 (it is consistently ranked by Preqin in the top 5 funds in the world) make it an attractive investment opportunity for institutional investors so before it even announces the fund raising of an additional fund, it is oversubscribed, with almost all its investors are repeat investors.”

Alongside investors from Israel, the new fund attracted foreign investors, such as Credit Suisse and an investor from the United Arab Emirates.
