Fintech company Melio raises USD150m at USD2 billion valuation

Melio, a financial technology company specialising in accounts payable and receivable for small and medium-sized businesses, has secured USD 150 million in strategic funding.

This capital injection values New York-based Melio at USD 2 billion and is expected to bolster its growth initiatives and support its services tailored for business financial needs.

The investment round features contributions from notable players such as payments processor Fiserv and Capital One’s venture arm. The funding also saw participation from other key investors, including Shopify’s venture arm and major venture capital firms like Accel, Bessemer Venture Partners, Coatue Management, General Catalyst, and Thrive Capital.

Goldfarb Gross Seligman acted for Melio in the Series E round, with the transaction led by Amir Raz, together with associates Shai Yom Tov, Gal Barak, Aviv Toby, and intern Shir Goldshmid.
