First IPO of an Israeli company on the ASX in the last six months
With all the excitement and activity around the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the popularity of the Australian Stock Exchange (“ASX”) for Israeli companies looking to raise money has recently receded somewhat, but for some companies, such as Geffen Technologies, Sydney is definitely the place to be.
Geffen Technologies, which develops digital tools and services for financial institutions, real estate companies and insurance bodies, plans to raise AUD 25 million (NIS 63 million) in the coming weeks, in one of the largest capital raises on the ASX by an Israeli company.
It is also the first IPO of an Israeli company on the ASX in the last six months.
Geffen’s advisors on the IPO are the accounting firm BDO, and senior partners Anna Moshe and Lior Baruch from Pearl Cohen.
