German software giant SAP buys Israel’s WalkMe for USD1.5 billion
German enterprise software giant SAP is acquiring Israeli company WalkMe for USD1.5 billion in an all-cash transaction, serving as a powerful testament to the resilience and excellence of Israel’s tech sector.
Founded in 2011, WalkMe has developed a platform for adopting digital technologies without the need to write additional code. Based in Tel Aviv, the company is listed on NASDAQ.
Orrick and Gornitzky advised SAP, for whom this is the 12th acquisition of an Israeli company.
