Gilat to acquire U.S. company Stellar Blu for USD245m

Gilat Satellite Networks has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire STELLAR BLU Solutions, a U.S.-based leading avionics solution provider of next-generation SATCOM terminal solutions, for up to USD245 million.
Gilat offers In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) solutions like modems and amplifiers, while Stellar Blu developed electronically steered antennas, making them complementary in the IFC market.
Naschitz Brandes Amir acted for Gilat on the cross-border acquisition, with the M&A team leading the matter, fronted by Sharon Amir, senior partner & head of M&A, Tuvia Geffen, partner & head of International Capital Markets, associates Gili Aram and Adiell George, and intern Vicky Glasserman-Almog (Vicky Almog).
