Half of Israeli startups register in US

In 2025, approximately half of the new startups founded by Israeli entrepreneurs were registered in Israel, with the remainder incorporated in the United States, according to Calcalist Tech reporting. This represents a notable decline from the 2018–2022 period, when roughly 75–80 % incorporated domestically.
The trend, which accelerated after political and security upheavals beginning in 2023, saw Israel’s share fall to 50 % in 2024 and recover only modestly to around 52 % by year’s end.
