Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is acquiring Israeli cybersecurity startup Axis Security for an estimated hundreds of millions of dollars.

HPE is making the acquisition through its subsidiary Aruba, a competitor of Axis.

HPE, which was founded in 2015 as part of the splitting of the Hewlett-Packard company, has a market cap of around USD 20 billion.

Founded in 2018, Axis has raised a total of USD 100 million to date.

The deal follows hot on the heels of Wiz last week becoming Israel’s largest cyber unicorn after USD 300m financing, with a USD 10 billion valuation.
