Insight Partners strengthens Israel Focus
Insight Partners, a US-based private equity and venture capital firm, has appointed Daniel Aronovitz as its new partner for investments in Israel, joining Liad Agmon and Jeff Horing. Aronovitz, who immigrated to Israel in 2019, has been instrumental in managing the firm’s local portfolio, which includes companies such as Wiz, Island, Granolite, Own, Deci, and Run:ai.
Despite slowing its investment pace after 2022, Insight has deployed over USD 5.8 billion in Israeli tech companies. The firm, once Israel’s most active foreign investor, ranked fourth in 2023 due to market challenges and rising interest rates. Looking ahead, Insight plans to prioritize strategic acquisitions and buyout deals to enhance liquidity and drive growth within its portfolio.
